4 x Disposable Alcohol Breath Test
A single-use alcohol breath test that estimates blood alcohol concentration from a breath sample, with crystals that change colour according to the alcohol present. Compact enough to keep in a car, bag or wallet, these disposable breathalysers are widely used for personal awareness the morning after drinking, when alcohol is often still present long after people assume it has cleared. The UK drink-drive limit is 80mg per 100ml of blood in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (35 micrograms per 100ml of breath), and lower in Scotland at 50mg per 100ml of blood — but no breath test, including this one, can replace a legally certified reading, and the only way to be certain is not to drink and drive at all. The result develops in around two minutes.
Intended use
For personal awareness of approximate blood alcohol level. Not a substitute for a police-calibrated device and not evidential.

What this test measures
Breath alcohol testing measures the amount of alcohol in the air you exhale, which correlates closely with your blood alcohol concentration. Levels rise as you drink and fall as your body metabolises the alcohol, typically at a fairly steady rate over several hours. This test gives an indicative reading of your current level, not a legally certified measurement.
What your result will mean
Worth knowing before you test, not after.
